Abstract

A study of 300 women attending a primary health care centre was conducted to determine the prevalence of vaginal candidiasis. The researchers analyzed high vaginal swabs in relation to factors such as age, douching practices, and the use of oral contraceptives or antibiotics, using germ tube tests to differentiate species.
